Thank you for visiting and shopping at myislandhub.co .We are an e-commerce marketplace where vendors from the British Virgin Islands (BVI) can sell their products to customers around the world. The following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

How do I check the status of my order?

For anything you need with an order the fastest way to get help is to contact the vendor, you have ordered from directly. They will provide you with full assistance.

  • Go to your Orders page (you will need to log in first if you haven't already. 
  • Locate the order in the list and you will find its status. You can also recheck the details.
  • If you need further help, click on the "Contact Seller" link to send the Vendor your message

You will receive their reply by email and a copy will also appear in your My Island Hub inbox. Our Vendors aim to reply to all messages within 2 working days. 

Domestic Shipping Policy

Shipping Policy - Domestic/Local and Inter-Island

  1. Shipment Processing Time

Please allow vendors 2-3 business days for your order to be processed for shipping. Orders for some vendors may not be shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. If a vendor is experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in the shipment of your order, your vendor will contact you via email or telephone.

  1. Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on your selected shipping or delivery option. For inter-island shipping via ferry, the fees vary by operator, size of the item, and location. Please note that delays may occur due to boat schedules and/or weather conditions. Delivery delays can occasionally occur.

  1. Inter-Island Shipping

Vendors may offer inter-island shipping via ferries to select destinations in the BVI and US Virgin Islands. Please note that the fees and delivery estimates for inter-island shipping vary by operator, size of the item, and destination. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in the shipment of your order, your vendor will contact you via email or telephone.

  1. Shipment Confirmation and Order Tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s) when applicable. The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

  1. Customs, Duties, and Taxes

My Island Hub is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

  1. Damages

My Island Hub is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipping courier to file a complaint. Please take a photo and save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

  1. Free Shipping

Some vendors may offer free shipping on select items or orders. Please note that free shipping may not apply to all items or orders and may be subject to certain conditions, such as minimum order value or the shipping destination.

  1. Local Pickup

Some of our vendors on My Island Hub Marketplace offer the convenience of in-store pickup as a shipping option for their customers. This means that instead of waiting for their items to be shipped and delivered, customers can simply select the in-store pickup option at checkout and collect their order directly from the vendor's physical location. In-store pickup can be especially useful for customers who want to avoid shipping fees or who need their items urgently and don't want to wait for delivery. Customers who choose this option will receive an email or phone notification once their order is ready for pickup, and they can then proceed to the vendor's location during their business hours to collect their items.

  • Swiftpack: This service provides reliable and cost-effective delivery to select Caribbean countries. Delivery times vary depending on the destination but typically range from 3-10 business days.
  • BVI Post Office: This service provides affordable delivery to select Caribbean countries. Delivery times vary depending on the destination but typically range from 5-14 business days.
  1. Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated based on the weight and destination of your order, as well as the selected shipping option. You can view the shipping rates for your order during the checkout process.

  1. Customs and Duties

International orders may be subject to customs and duties fees, which are the responsibility of the customer. My Island Hub is not responsible for any customs or duties fees incurred by international orders.

  1. Shipping Restrictions

We do not ship to countries that are subject to US or UN sanctions, including Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Syria. We reserve the right to cancel and refund orders that violate these restrictions.
